           AUSSIE BULLDOG NATIONAL BREED REGISTRAR
                                  " BULLDOGS AUSTRALIA "
The United Aussie Bulldog Association was the first breed club formed
for this breed in 2003, & it is the only Breed Registry of its kind in Australia.

There has been a new Registration System gradually introduced from July 2009 - " Ausdog Registry". This is a branch of the United Aussie Bulldog Association- UABA. The Ausdog registry system will be open to owners of Aussie Bulldogs bred by breeders of each Society, Club & Association of Aussie Bulldogs. Dogs registered outside the Ausdog system will be considered on a case by case merit based upon breed type & breed percentage.

Standard UABA & foundation certificates will now cease on litters as of Nov 2009.

This system is a more refined version of registration to make sure each litter is documented correctly, and that UABA bred dogs are selectively bred to the right males/females to help ensure the future of this wonderful breed.

All litters bred from Nov 2009 will be issued with a 5 generation AUSDOG Ancestry document that tells you the owner & information about your dogs breed history. The Breeder of your puppy will do this document for you, or they may arrange for the UABA Administration team to issue them.

When purchasing your Aussie Bulldog puppy from one of the UABA breeders, you should be able to pick up your AUSDOG Breed certificate at the time of sale from the breeder in most cases.

If you are looking for a puppy from a UABA breeder, please make sure they hold a current breeder listing on this site www.bulldogsaustralia.com before you purchase your Aussie Bulldog puppy, also obtain a photo copy of each of the parents breed certificates and photos of them before taking your new puppy home.

If you purchased your puppy purely as a pet and have no intention to breed, then your dog will stay on the Ausdog register.

If you are considering breeding?
Puppy buyers that have an Ausdog Registry Certificate for their puppy, can apply to have a Standard UABA breed certificate issued for females after 12 months of age if they decide to breed, and males over 10 months of age. This certificate will be cross referenced with the information supplied by the breeder before re-issue.
Please email uaba@westnet.com.au for an application form to Transfer from Ausdog to Standard UABA breed certificate.
This has to be applied for before any mating has taken place.

Only pups produced that are over 75 %,may be considered when older, to be put onto a standard UABA breed certificate. There will be no foundation  UABA certificates issued anymore. Foundation dogs under 75% will stay on Ausdog. Quality females at this percentage can be bred to a compatible male, but she stays on an Ausdog cert.

~UABA Breeders Guidelines                                                                             for Application to Register a Litter of Puppies on Ausdog
~ When you have mated your female, you will need to contact one of the United Aussie Bulldog Association Administration team to give them details of your planned litter, so an "expected litters" notice can go up on the Breed Board.

For an Ausdog litter application form
 Email: jaxaussiebulldogs@bigpond.com  or avignonburmese@live.com   uaba@westnet.com.au

An  Ausdog template will then be sent to you from the UABA Administration.
They can take you through the steps of completing the template and further guidelines that have to be met to make sure your litter gets recorded with the UABA.

There will be no charge for pup registrations if you do them yourself.
It is preferred if you register your pups before they are 4 weeks of age.

For breeders that don't have the ways or means to do your own certificates, they can  be done by UABA registrars at a fee.

Notes
~Litter applications that are sent to UABA Admin are processed and sent back to the new owners within a 4 week period after being received by the registrar. In some cases it may take longer if the breeder has not submitted the right information required.
~Please make sure that photos of each pup are clearly named to match the name on the application form so that accurate photo ID can be supplied on the certificate.

Disclaimer:      Litters are registered from information submitted by breeders within the Association. The UABA takes the information set from previous records and photographic documentation into consideration and breed certificates are then issued.
The United Aussie Bulldog Association will not be held responsible for any misleading information that may be submitted from a breeder.
Any false information given will result in termination of membership of that breeder and the de-registering of the particular litter involved.
The UABA will not be liable for any costs accumulated from any litter bred by a member, this is purely between the Breeder and Puppy buyer.
